Low Teo Ping, Vice President of the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC), shared his opinions about the redesigned 16th Asian Games Official Website. "Comparing the old version and the revised one, I would like to say that it is like day and night!," said Mr Low.

Low Teo Ping, Vice President of the Singapore National Olympic Council, receives an interview with the Official Website of the Guangzhou Asian Games on the sidelines on the 16th Asian Games Chefs de Mission Seminar on November 13.

Mr Low, who attended the 16th Asian Games Chefs de Mission Seminar in Guangzhou in November, took an email interview from the Official Website of the Guangzhou Asian Games. In the reply, Mr Low gave a high commendation to the improved version of the website. He was surprised by the efficiency of the advancement. Mr Low stated that he appreciates the diversity of the information and the hospitality of the atmosphere it has created.

Mr Low also gave some constrictive suggestions on enriching the content of the website. For example, he suggested that the website could conduct interviews with Asian athletes in their native languages and present the videos with subtitle translations. He believed this will add diversity and colour to the website and highlight what the Asian Games stands for.

Finally he mentioned that he is looking for a survey among athletes and officials from the Asian countries and regions and their responses on the website. He hoped the website can build up a community of supporters for the 16th Asian Games.

Singapore will host the 1st Youth Olympic Games from August 14 to 26, 2010.
