GAGOC launches Interpreting Training Camp

Guangzhou, February 4 - The Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC) recently launched an Interpreting Training Camp at its headquarters.

GAGOC holds a press conference to announce details of the Interpreting Training Camp.

Starting from January 11, the training camp will last two months. Every Monday and Tursday afternoon, the External Relations & Protocol Department trains GAGOC staff and foreign affairs volunteers in basic interpreting techniques, Chinese and English terminology of Asian Games as well as Asiad knowledge.

The instructors include language service providers from the External Relations & Protocol Department, awards winners at the Guangzhou Asain Games English Star Contest and college English teachers who are experienced in foreign affairs.

The training camp enjoys great support among GAGOC staff and Asian Games volunteers.
