GAGOC appoints 20 service providers for Asian Games Town

Guangzhou, February 5 - The Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC) signed 20 commercial and supporting service providers for the Asian Games Town of the 16th Asian Games on Thursday.

GAGOC names 20 service providers for the Asian Games Town of the 16th Asian Games on Thursday.

Liu Jiangnan, Deputy Secretary General of GAGOC, and Tang Ruping, Director of GAGOC Games Services Department, attended the signing ceremony and unveiled the list to the public.

Asian Games Town is the largest non-competition venue of the 16th Asian Games which is capable of accommodating 14,700 athletes and team officials, over 7,000 accredited media and 16,000 technical officials during Games-time.

Twenty service providers are listed as follows:

China Mobile Group Guangdong Company Limited;

Guangdong Branch of China Telecom Corp. Ltd.;

China Southern Airlines;

Banking Department of Guangdong Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China,;

LAX Group, South Logistics Enterprises Group;

GZL International Travel Service Ltd.;

Guangzhou Grandbuy Co., Ltd.;

Guangzhou Flower Research Centre;

Guangzhou TianTian Launday Service,Ltd.;

Guangzhou Dexin Electric Appliance Service Centre;

Guangzhou Hexin Computer Output Co., Ltd.;

Guangzhou Caifu Catering Co., Ltd.;

Guangzhou Hair & Beauty Association;

China National Publications Import & Export (Group) Corporation Guangzhou Branch;

Haizhu Bureau of Culture;

Guangzhou Sport Training and Technical College;

Guangzhou Water Sport Centre;

Tourist Information Centre under Tourism Administration of Guangzhou and

China Post (Guangzhou).

GAGOC appointed these 20 enterprises and public institutions of better comprehensive strength and service quality through the open solicitation and recommendation to serve the Asian Games Town while the selected enterprises are assigned with the task to provide a wide range of commercial and entertainment business services during the 16th Asian Games, including banking, postal service, courier service, ticketing (travel agencies), department stores, books and newspaper stands, video stores, flower shops, laundry shops, barber shops, coffee shops, Chinese learning studios, swimming pools and massage centres.

Operation teams will be set up and operational plans will be drafted by GAGOC and the service providers of the Asian Games Town to ensure all-round service.
