A visit to training camp of Games ceremonial volunteers

Guangzhou, August 23 - The Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC) kicked off a visit on August 20 to the training camp for ceremonial volunteers of the Guangzhou Asian Games who are currently receiving intensive trainings at the Shunde campus of Southern Medical University, South China's Guangdong Province.

The tour was organised by Games Communication & Promotion Department of GAGOC and covered by the Official Website of the Guangzhou Asian Games, Official Magazine of the Games, Guangzhou Daily, Sports Channel of Guangzhou Television, Videoland Television Network from Taiwan and Southern Metropolis Daily.

There are 550 ceremonial volunteers of the Guangzhou Asian Games attending the training camp, among whom 380 will be selected to offer volunteering services for awarding ceremonies of the Games' 476 events.

The training camp includes the military training, etiquette training, English conversation skills, figure training, knowledge of Games sports events and rehearsals for victory ceremonies.
