Zhang delivers a message of praise to the Asian Games Town staff

Guangzhou, September 2 - A team of officials from Guangdong Province and Guangzhou Municipality spearheaded by Zhang Guangning, Member of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of CPC, Secretary of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee of CPC, Vice President and Secretary General of the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC), were on a tour to the Asian Games Town on Tuesday.

August 31 saw the completion of the Asian Games Town and its delivery to GAGOC with a grand ceremony held at the Asian Games Town. Right after the ceremony, Zhang, together with other officials from Guangdong Province and Guangzhou Municipality, paid a visit to the staff working for the Asian Games Town, delivering a message of praise.

Zhang's visit acknowledged what the Asian Games Town staff (comprising the Guangzhou Key Public Projects Construction Administration Office, constructors and a large number of construction workers from different walks of life) did from the very beginning of a scratch to the final completion of Games competition and non-competition venues in the past four years on behalf of Guangzhou Municipal Committee of CPC and Guangzhou Municipal Government.

In the end, Zhang encouraged management teams of the Asian Games Town to deliver excellent services during Games-time.
