Announcing the 2nd World Press Briefing of the 16th Asian Games |

The 2nd World Press Briefing, with the theme: Meaningful Exchange between the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC) and Accredited Media, will be the last opportunity for a comprehensive dialogue between GAGOC and accredited media on preparations for media services for the 16th Asian Games, before the actual Games begin in November.
During the Briefing, we will be presenting updates on our preparations for, and polices on, the services to be provided at the Games, to our friends in the media.
We will also be listening to specific requests from the media regarding services they would like to see during the event. This will help us in our preparations and ensure the right services are delivered.

A pick up and drop off service will be available between Guangzhou’s Baiyun International Airport and the Garden Hotel.
● Pick-up Service Hours of Operation: 08:00 - 22:00 on July 20
● Drop-off Service Hours of Operation: 08:00 - 17:00 on July 23 |

Please provide a photocopy of your passport, including the photo, signature and passport number page in your application. |

Please ensure that any names written in any script or language other than English e.g. Arabic, Hindi or Thai, in the passport, are correctly translated into English, in your application. We will prepare a Visa Notification Form to be sent to applicants, which will form of their application for a visa to enter China, based on the information we receive in their Personal Information form when applying to attend the event. |

Please ensure that all information submitted is complete and correct, so that visas can be processed without delay. Any omissions or errors may result in a delay when passing through immigration upon arrival. In a worst case scenario, travellers may be refused entry into China. |

Copies of passport pages submitted as part of an application should be the same as those pages submitted when applying for entry into China. |
